Charmed Jewelry Time!

Hello world! It's been over a month since I've posted something new! Life really is busy as a college student. I know I always say that but it's true and that's why I don't get around here too often. Good news! I have photos to post! After looking at the wedding pictures in December my best friends Aunt Sue insisted I take pictures for her jewelry company. Charmed Jewelry is full of enchanting, hand-crafted, and simply lovely pieces. How could I say no? On a warm Friday afternoon Stacey, Heather and I found ourselves on the beach front property in Redando Beach. Jewelry designer Sue Tyssee's artistic style wasn't only evident in her beautiful pieces, but her home as well. The custom-designed home was screaming vintage decorating, crystal chandeliers, and many home-y touches such as a breakfast nook. Needless to say, I fell in love and am now inspired to decorate my home just like hers one day. On Saturday morning we waited for the sun to peak through the foggy skies to begin shooting. Unfortunately we couldn't stay all day and weren't able to finish in our limited time. But luckily we get to make a second trip out of it now :)

Be sure take a look at Charmed Jewelry at:

Spring Blooming

The sun is out and the flowers are blooming as the signs of new life appear before our eyes. Spring is here. Every season has something fresh to offer. Spring offers me opportunities to take pictures in the wild flowers. My friend and I who have wanted to do this for awhile finally got around to it this month. I think we were both happy with how they turned out :) I also tried a watermark on this first picture, what do you think? I hope to be posting more frequently so come visit more often :)

Dreams

Do dreams ever really come true? I mean really, how am I ever going to live in an apartment in New York or Seattle or Boston and host dinner parties on the roof top looking over the city at my favorite time of day, dusk. How am I ever going to own a quaint coffee shop or book shop, raise my family in New England, or start my non-profit? Is it possible to even adopt children from Africa these days? Each of these have been placed on my heart by the Lord, but where do I begin? I know it's easier said than done, but I must stow away my worries and have faith. I've been listening to a song a lot recently that says, "Sometimes I don't know the point but the point is not knowing, it's having faith that faith can get me where I'm going." Faith that God is sovereignly in control. Faith that God will use me for His glory.

The Gale girls!

Kayla, Makenna, and Kelly, first let me say that you girls are great models! I had so much fun on this shoot. It was difficult keeping these photos undercover until after Christmas due to the fact it was their moms present! These are some of my favorite pictures I have taken. I hope you like them Mrs. Gale!
